Android is a mobile operating system developed by Google, based on the Linux kernel and designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Android's user interface is mainly based on direct manipulation, using touch gestures that loosely correspond to real-world actions, such as swiping, tapping and pinching, to manipulate on-screen objects, along with a virtual keyboard for text input. In addition to touchscreen devices, Google has further developed Android TV for televisions, Android Auto for cars, and Android Wear for wrist watches, each with a specialized user interface. Variants of Android are also used on notebooks, game consoles, digital cameras, and other electronics.
iOS (formerly iPhone 8 OS) is a mobile operating system created and developed by Apple Inc. exclusively for its hardware. It is the operating system that presently powers many of the company's mobile devices, including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. It is the second most popular mobile operating system globally after Android.
Originally unveiled in 2007 for the iPhone, (now iphone 8) iOS has been extended to support other Apple devices such as the iPod Touch (September 2007) and the iPad (January 2010). As of January 2017, Apple's App Store contains more than 2.2 million iOS applications (iphone 8) , 1 million of which are native for iPads. These mobile apps have collectively been downloaded more than 130 billion times.
Mobile games have been developed to run on a wide variety of platforms and . These include the Symbian, Adobe Flash Lite, NTT DoCoMo's , Sun's Java,BlackBerry, Nook and early incarnations of Windows Mobile. Today, the most widely supported platforms are Apple's iOS (iphone 8 os)and Google's Android. The mobile version of Microsoft's Windows 10 (formerly Windows Phone) is also actively supported, although in terms of market share remains marginal compared to iOS (such as iphone 8s OS) and Android.
Mobile games tend to be small in scope and many prioritise innovative design and ease of play over visual spectacle. Storage and memory limitations place constraints on file size that presently rule out the direct migration of many modern PC and console games to mobile. One major problem for developers and publishers of mobile games is describing a game in such detail that it gives the customer enough information to make a purchasing decision.
Many mobile games support multiple players, either remotely over a network or locally via wifi, Bluetooth or similar technology.
There are several options for playing multiplayer games on mobile phones: live synchronous tournaments and turn-based asynchronous tournaments. In live tournaments, random players from around the world are matched together to compete.
the base is a programming language which is used for an app creation. You might have heard in passing something about Java and Objective-C. I'm mentioning them because these two languages are used nowadays to create applications you're used to seeing on your device: the first one is associated with Android programming and the second one is associated with iOS (iphone 8 ) applications. A few years ago, one could have said that Java was much easier to study and apply than the old and punishing Objective-C, so you need to write nearly twice as much code to get the same result. It is true to a great extent however, some developers consider it a much cleaner language.

In fact, there is one more language which is involved in creating iOS apps and this has recently become open source. It's called Swift. This guy is almost on a par with Java if it comes to the ease of learning and deployment. To be specific, if earlier, knowing Java could open the doors to development for other operating systems, such as Windows and Linux; today, with Swift's becoming open source and supporting Linux tools, it's possible to widen your opportunities as a developer. Maybe one day we will see Swift as a means of programming for Android.
