Colonel Parker on Sid Vicious' controversial booking of Harlem Heat

32 ratings | 2852 views
Colonel Parker discusses how the original booking of Harlem Heat nearly cost him his job at WCW. Sid Vicious helped WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. and Stevie Ray get a foot in the door at WCW when he got them signed. Harlem Heat went on to become a record 10-time WCW Tag Team champion unit, but things didn't start off so great when the duo was introduced in 1993.

I always found it weird when I saw Colonel Robert Parker managing Harlem Heat. It would just make me ask myself why is a southern gentleman like Colonel Robert Parker hanging out with two thugs from Harlem New York?

WrestlingMan - I remember that, I saw some of his USWA promos, his voice was great and he had mic skills.

His voice never changed. He was just that good of an actor. His Colonel Robert Parker "voice" was just him acting.
