Are Nintendo improving the graphics of Star Fox Zero, is Xenoblade X the biggest open-world yet and is the online based Legend of Zelda - Triforce Heroes telling us something about the future of the series? I am joined by NintendoBox to answer these and some other questions regarding Star Fox Zero, Xenoblade Chronicles X and Triforce Heroes and give some impressions based on my hands on experience of the games at the Gamestop EXPO 2015 - Northern Europe. Seriously, I hate people that are all about Graphics like the XBox One and PS4 users, I care about gameplay, and thats why I stick with Nintendo. Also All my friends I know that have PS3/PS4, XBox 360/XBox One their games are forgotten forever, while Nintendo games make you come back to play them

You should try to team up with M. Productions in your theories about the sheikah tribe because you both to different theories and it would be nice to see you combine your ideas together

Its not what I'm looking for in a zelda game either 😕 it looks cute and fun but it doesn't feel "zelda" to me 😥

In Star Fox Zero, I much would have rather seen them drop the dual screen 60fps rendering, so that they could get online multiplayer in the game. The gamepad should have just been HUD, with the radar and comms. I've been looking forward to an HD 4-player co-op Star-Fox game for more than a decade... but sadly, it seems Nintendo would rather incorporate unnecessary control schemes.

Don't get me started on the cockpit... the wireframe cockpit interior is like some kind of bad joke. Star Fox 64 had a more detailed/believable cockpit interior. It's just sad to think about what the game could have been if Nintendo weren't so obsessed with hardware gimmicks. Not only could we have gotten a better looking game, but we could have gotten a ton of extra replayability in the form of co-operative multiplayer (StarFox is a team, co-operative campaing makes a tone of sense), and massively overhauled competitive multiplayer, with online allowing for more players (just imagine 4 vs 4, StarFox vs StarWolf). I wouldn't even care if it was basically a remake of StarFox 64, as long as it had those things (although, you would need to change things a bit to make co-op work properly).

Definitely, you saw in the video how much I was looking at the TV-screen compared to looking down on the gamepad. I understand the cockpit idea, but the cinematic effect on the TV is only experienced when not looking down on the gamepad. And believe me if you want to hit anything in this game with gyro-controls on then you have no other choice but to aim with the gamepad. Thankfully the Wii U Pro controller is supported by this game, since this is the control scheme I will be using when playing this game.

+Commonwealth realm Exactly. I've heard you can switch the displays, but even still, the fact remains that they are wasting valuable hardware resources to render a 2nd camera angle, that players aren't even going to look at all that often.  I don't really understand the need for the gyro controls either... the game played perfectly fine on the 64 with just a stick. It just seems that they're more interested in utilising the Wii U's hardware gimmicks, than actually making a solid game. Quite disappointing really.

+ArynCrinn I would actually have preferred to play without the gyro controls because with this control scheme you are only looking down on the gamepad and rarely on the screen.

Has anybody else noticed the similarities between starfox zero and the second starfox game that was canceled for the SNES.

We will see when Zelda Wii U comes out. There are alot of things there that do not make sense or conflict with the timeline.

+Commonwealth realm I don't think they're rebooting the series anytime soon. That would suck in my opinion. I don't think they will abandon the Zelda Timeline like that. Plus, in an interview with Shikata about Tri Force Heroes, when asked about a Timeline Placement, Shikata was quick to refer to the same Zelda Timeline we know of, acknowledge that it's still a thing, and that they're not abandoning it anytime soon. Maybe, like ten years from now, they might reboot, but not anytime soon. I just don't think or feel like the series needs an official reboot quite yet.

+PJCLink As I have stated previously, I believe that Nintendo EAD 3 is probably developing a Zelda Fusion/Reboot, but unlike Star Fox Zero the plot will be completely new.

+Commonwealth realm I do recall Nintendo, back at E3, did say that were intending on Star Zero being like a re-imagining of what Starfox Zero was supposed to be and that's why they have so many references from Starfox 2 in Starfox Zero. I wonder if this could mean they might do the same for Zelda at some point, especially after seeing all that support that most of their hardcore fans, time and time again keep bringing to certain alpha/beta forms and a certain cancelled expansion of a certain famous Zelda game (hint: one of the two that was on N64, originally). Thoughts?

+OgitchidaGaming Yep there are alot of Star Fox 2 references in this game. But I am afraid that they did not implement the brilliant map and tactical gameplay from the cancelled instalment.

If main Zelda games ever become multiplayer it should be exactly as Dark Souls. They could also implement what Bethesda does with the Fallout series, give you an option on what gender you want to be and then release it´s own canon regardless of what you picked and did, the character would still be Link as he/she/it literally is meant to represent the link between Game and Gamer. And they can canonically alternate between a male and female hero for each iteration or do the most political thing one can do and say it´s gender doesn´t even matter.

+passthetoiletpaper Interesting thoughts there. Online components will definitely also become a part of console Zelda instalments in the future after Wind Waker HD and now Triforce Heroes. Zelda Wii U perhaps? ;)

I really hope that multiplayer becomes a standard thing in Zelda games. Maybe a separate game like this occasionally or a small game mode, because I like my Zelda games mostly single player.

+Commonwealth realm what about of a online implementation like dark souls where other people "invade" your world and they can leave messages anywhere to help you or maybe make you fall to an endless pit idk.

+Matt In my opinion an online-multiplayer war mode would be welcome in the console Zelda games (building upon the shadow link mode in A Link Between Worlds), just like I mentioned in my most recent Zelda Unknown.

+Wandering Chozo I think if they make Zelda as a single player game, but add a mode where you just get two people playing it, that would be ok, like, nothing at all is changed.. its just a chance to have a buddy there with you.. the day they design the game for two players, then things might go wrong.. but yeah, my idea above, wont interrupt anything
