two things, what i do not get about mouse(?), why precision enhancement/acceleration stuff calls muscle memory killer if muscle work with acceleration/force/momentum(f=ma, p=mv), not with distance, and why both side buttons mouse call's ambidextrous mice? is it problem for use annulary finger? or ambidexter means human without problems with dexterity? actually i'm not ambidexter and use left hand very bad, only my xgf knows how, but i just need buttons under ring finger, i know, my english iz may be most bad english on the planet, but google translator help me so, ambidexter is could be man with bilateral right or left hand too? not only who use left and right hand with same skill? people are not often may understand what exactly i say, even, when i speak russian, so if you do not get what i say it's o.k.

i think that i like myg502 more, only problem is that wire but seems like g502 has buttons on better places and why the hell do I need so fast sensor, I see no difference between Logitech m100 and g502, then why would I need even faster sensor???
イトメア地獄Karma (10 months ago)
It's mainly depends on the consumer that buy the G900 (I think), if you're playing games that requires you to move your mouse alot and fast, (probably either you're a low dpi player or the game itself need a lot of movement from the mouse) There's a difference between an normal mouse and an professional Esports gaming mouse, like the G900 I'm talking about here. I think the G900 is aiming for players that need a good mouse with good performance.

Message for Logitech from most of FPS gamers that own G900, THUMBS UP SO THEY WILL READ THIS. This is by far, the best mouse you realized, but you can still make it better with the release of PowerPlay technology. We want G904 with those features: - 3366 or better - Lightweight g900, use smaller batteries (No need for 20g batteries, POWERPLAY! You can add spare additional weights for people who want heavier mouse) - 150€ or less Bundle G904+PowerPlay mousepad/surface with more room (So we can just put our preferred or bigger mousepad over your powerplay surface!) - Lower pivot design: follow the line more like an ordinary mouse so people with small hands/claw grip can benefit better from the pivot design! - More room side textures: No need for the silver part, more textures for better grip with big thumbs! - Fix the rattles and the uneven clicks. Free wheel feature is funny, but as a gamer i would prefer a solid mouse with no rattle and lightweight - Better price! AHAHAH

I'd like to see future G502 Proteus Core with brand new important features in the following list: -Zero Delta Wireless Sensor Capability -Ability to switch between Wired and Wireless mode -2190Hour (3 months battery) -Newly improved texture-pattern for claw/palm grip users -Smooth hyperfast scrollwheel -Include DPI Shift Default button -Weight Tuning to make mouse feel either heavy (170-250grams)/ medium heavy (130-150 grams)/ medium light (103-120 grams) -Wireless Charging Dock -Smart sensor to automatically disable wireless mode when the mouse is in idle state/stationary position
Dan (1 year ago)
I have also given feedback to Chris Pate on Twitter about developing wireless version of Logitech G502 Proteus (heavy claw/palm grip mouse). https://twitter.com/chris_pate?lang=en
Dan (1 year ago)
Ya, thanks for your response. Tell product manger Chris Pate to make brand new Logitech G502 Proteus Mouse that supports both Wired and Wireless, along with important features like hyperfast scroll wheel (fast web browsing, easy to perform bunny hop/g-strafe in Counter-Strike 1.6 and/or Counter-Strike Global Offensive), tuning weights, RGB Lighting effects, newly texture-pattern grips, and make sure the mouse is heavy, and should be optimized well for claw/palm grip mouse. That way it'll be easier to tap mouse faster to shoot faster, pivot the mouse while aiming down the sights, and easier to swipe the mouse fast at a fast rapid motion, regardless DPI settings, especially mouse surface tuning. And last but not least, make sure battery should last much longer since battery lifetime is a huge deal when it comes down to gaming, especially with RGB lighting effects, and the mouse should have the ability to turn off RGB lighting effects automatically when in idle state/stationary position in order to conserve battery so that it'll avoid rapid battery depletion. So I look forward to see wireless version of Logitech G502 in the near future, and I will be glad to order one soon. In the meantime, I will be using Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Mouse until wireless version of G502 comes out. Also, wireless version of G502 should cause rattling noise when dragging/lifting/shaking the mouse itself.

Does the mouse click has more endurance compares to all other prominent brands? I don't want to spend so much money on a mouse only to get double click issues 2 years later. I hope a mouse could last at least 4 years.
thompson11k (1 year ago)
I own this mouse and let me tell you, that button pivot thing is over-engineered marketing bullshit. They have poor QC and the clicks not only sound, but feel different from each other. That is, between the left and the right mouse buttons. (look it up) I owned a G9 and loved it until the cord broke. Now I'm waiting for a new cord in the mail before replacing the g900.

Logitech can you please stop lying to your consumers with this "eSports" bullshit? Fact: No professional player in any game, anywhere uses your wireless mice while competing -- EVER. Why? Because it's not allowed. In CSGO, League and Dota everything has to be wired to avoid any possibility of cheating not to mention you need to provide the gear you are taking for testing. So no, professional players will never use your mice while actually playing games in a professional setting. You don't need to lie or stretch reality to sell your great products, please leave those cheap tactics to equally cheap companies like Razer.
Hemlock (2 years ago)
So... The fact that several pro CSGO, Lol, AND Dota players are already using this mouse means what to you? That you were wrong? This is a professional mouse, that WILL be used by professionals. And you saying that it's "not allowed" is the biggest BS i've ever heard.

Geryboy666 (2 years ago)
+Veritech Ace I have hearing loss and could hear them just fine, you sure you have a problem with their music and not their accents?
So have they made a non-braided cable for it? or are you forced to have a heavy restrictive braided cable when using it in wired mode?. Also does it still broadcast the wireless signal when in wired mode ? or does it switch to wired only?.Will they be making a new g500 with the 3366?. and if so will they be forcing us to have a heavy stupid braided cable forcing you to have a mouse bunjee. Please logitec make more wired mice like your old mice but with the 3366 and a decent scroll wheel.
TheDeeGee (2 years ago)
I need my Left and Right Click Scroll Wheel... Aswell as the ergonomics of the MX518, G5 and G500(s). Why has this design been ditched?
i wah that Logitech will stay with that design because I believe it is a one the best mouse was mx518 and the g5 in my opinion. That can make a better sensor or make it different surface materials.
Evaldas Jocys (2 years ago)
This mouse looks impressive and kudos for ambidextrous design, but by comparison with G700s, it was a mistake to remove 3 extra buttons from top left side (I use them for stabbing, reviving and spotting enemies in Battlefield 4). They could add 2-3 magnetic buttons on the top left and right side. Less buttons on the mouse means, that the gamer needs to use his other hand, dedicated for movement (AWSD) to perform actions. It means that in-game FPS character will freeze therefore allowing enemy to aim and kill you easier. For example, in Battlefield 3/4 I use this sequence very frequently when trying to resurrect friendly: With my left hand I am running ('SHIFT') forward ('W'), while strafing to the left ('A') and to the right ('D') while keeping my thumb ready for jumping ('SPACE'). At the same time, with my right hand, I am selecting defibrillators ('G8'), holding them down to charge, resurrecting friendly, dropping medical kit (Scroll-Left) taking out Main Gun ('G8') or Side Arm ('G6'), zooming ('R-Mouse') and shooting ('L-Mouse') at enemy in order to to provide cover for resurrected soldier, then I am immediately crouch ('G7') or prone ('G4') into cover myself. With G700 I can do it in a flash with ease, while constantly moving at the same time. Just this action sequence use 8 mouse buttons. All 13 buttons on my G700s are assigned to actions which can be used on the move, like 'G9' button which can be used for spotting while shooting and moving at the same. Proper gaming mouse, like HOTAS (Hands On Throttle-And-Stick) Joystick, must allow left hand to be dedicated for movement. Mouse with 14 (XINPUT) and more buttons can be called HOKAM (Hands On Keyboard-And-Mouse) and G700 comes very close to it.
ENGY (2 years ago)
+Evaldas Jocys  I know what you mean, but hear me out. I personally play CSGO everyday, I only use the left and right buttons on my Steelseries Rival. Any other buttons placed around that area would be annoying and unnecessary, since I wouldn't use them.
Evaldas Jocys (2 years ago)
+hayteN Please explain, how having less useful buttons, placed in the perfect position can be "with e-sports in mind"? Top left buttons on G700 are perfect for mutually exclusive actions, like knifing the enemy, because you can't shoot with primary mouse button at the same time while knifing. This means that top-left buttons allows to put index finger in use while it would sit idle on G900 mouse. G900 is using Integrated battery. I never use cable on my G700, I just swap rechargeable battery in 5 seconds and it is ready to go. G900 users will be forced to use cable for 2 hours in order to get full charge and I can bet that a lot of that time will be during the gaming. Forcing customer to mess with cables is not very convenient. People are buying wireless, because they don't want to deal with cables. G900 is lighter, but it is smaller too. Not sure if it is a good trade. G700s have thumb rest support which is gone in G900 due to these cuts. Cutting weight by removing useful things makes mouse cheaper to produce. Issue is that Logitech cut too much and it starts to look like they are trying to sell flaws as "features".
ENGY (2 years ago)
+Evaldas Jocys While i do understand your viewpoint, the mouse was designed with e-sports in mind, which is why it doesn't have those buttons.

xnestico (2 years ago)
+Kukendran K. "Ripping people off" Nobody is forcing anybody to buy it. Let's wait and see if the mouse sells or not. If it sells then it means that many people consider it worth that money. If it doesn't then your perception of an expensive piece of hardware would have been right.
Kukendran K. (2 years ago)
+Geryboy666 Look here's why you're still a dumb fuck: 1. Do you know the production costs of this mouse and that sensor? If you don't then there's nothing that can justify the premium. 2. There are more materials and more expensive materials on a kb. Simply machining aluminium is extremely expensive. So while I'm not saying 150 is justified even for a kb it would certainly make more sense than on a mouse. 3. No you shouldn't pay more simply cause you need it or want it. This right here is the textbook definition of a stupid customer. As long as companies know you're willing to pay more they'll just keeping upping the price till it becomes a joke, just like Apple and Razer and now Logitech. 4. Being a smart consumer doesn't make me an asshole. Criticising someone for being one makes you a belligerent idiot. 5. By all means continue your delusion that's it's worth the money. It's your money and i don't care. However let's not to to pass your silly opinions as facts either. Fact is you have no idea what this mouse costs to make and whether or not they're ripping people off.

Fucking idiots cant even fix the drivers for the g920 steering wheel on PC, fuck you Logitech
Trung Le (2 years ago)
For the Apple material, its looks so ugly, it's like a bug. Second thing is no dock charge... I really don't understand why Logitech spend a bit more money for the dock. The G602 is really good mouse, it looks a lot better than this G900 and it have removable battery. Keep this mouse somewhere besides your desk is a bad idea, you can't change the battery. Not worth 150 dollars, I don't know you guys even listen to the buyer or not but last year and this year you guys make a lot bad gaming product :(
ASquidWithC4 (2 years ago)
What you're saying has nothing to do with the fact that it's much easier and cost efficient to charge it with a USB cable over a dock.
Trung Le (2 years ago)
+ASquidWithC4 just remember, why do you want to buy this mouse. Because it looks cool ? Or because the wireless. and answer yourself why its cost 150 dollars and others mouse do the same thing like Zowie, Razer DeathAdder,... cheaper like half price.
Trung Le (2 years ago)
dude did I said when your battery die and you can't use it ? No I said with the dock its another way to charge and easier. If you want to use wire then its cool, your battery charge and you still can use it. but here is the point. with wireless mouse, its looks a lot cleaner and the wireless is good for PC and laptop, just the dock make PC set up looks better and easy to use
ASquidWithC4 (2 years ago)
Like I've said 12 times, then I'd have to wait for it to charge and I can't use my PC. Instead with a USB I could still use it as it charges. This is a dumb conversation.
Trung Le (2 years ago)
but at home you just put in the dock and rgb light in the dock makes it even cool-er

+ToDreamOrNotToDream i thought you meant only for normal use, like watching media, browsing etc. i suggest use the Logitech m235 which last up to 6 months battery life for home media
ToDreamOrNotToDream (2 years ago)
What the hell is a normal Logitech mouse? I have G602, I love it's absurdly long battery life and buttons and their macros. I also have Performance MX, which sucks... 5$ more from the wallet. Both cost almost 100$. I prefer G602's long lasting battery. Performance MX pissed me off so many times by dying in the middle of gaming session. Extra milliseconds don't count for me; I don't take drugs so I can't notice the difference.
Ilham Hamzah (2 years ago)
+ToDreamOrNotToDream Logitech | G lines are for professional games aka esport or just casual games. Buy a normal Logitech mouse if you want to use it for home media. You doesn't need to pay an extra 100 buck for a few extra miliseconds faster.

AniRayn (2 years ago)
"it's faster than other wired mice" - bullshit sensors are tingling. yeah, faster than those < $10 mice D:
Justin St-Hilaire (1 year ago)
you're really fucking retarded.
Rokupix Ruiqi (2 years ago)
+AniRayn its G700S has 1ms responce time, wouldnt say its faster but will be on par with most wired gaming mice

Really looking forward to hearing more about this mouse within the next couple months. But it really seems they're trying to get this mouse to LoL/moba players than to just any e-sports titles. A mouse like this would be perfect for games like csgo. Here's hoping that it has the same sensor as the g303/g502 and its worth it for csgo. Because a wireless gaming mouse for csgo would just give so many advantages.
Baltron (2 years ago)
They actually said that it had the PMW 3366
Luis D. A. (2 years ago)
+Willm0re It does have the same 3366 sensor that the g303/g502 have.
Samrat Patil (2 years ago)
Love your peripherals. Now that wireless is as good as wired, would like to see this tech on a much smaller, lighter, cheaper mouse like daedalus prime. If you can keep it lighter than 90gms, it'll be golden. May be I should stop dreaming.

Thank you for breaking boundaries that isn't DPI nor RGB.

yep, cables have drove me INSANE ever since I've started playing on the PC 2006, and even more so when I've started CS in 2008... I've tried everything from bungees to knobs to tape to wall-mounting... but you can just never alleviate the presence of the cable, when it's connected to your mouse, and wireless mice have been suffering from too much stuttering and input lag up until this point! yeah, it'll cost two legs and three arms (180eur for a fucking mouse), but if it finally fixes my biggest issue with gaming mice, and thus makes spending time in front of my PC much more enjoyable, then it's worth it

Logitech you change your logo too often^^ The old logo was better in my opinion.
Ashley Brown (2 years ago)
Seems cool, but it doesn't look like it has as many buttons as the new G502 spectrum.
Ashley Brown (2 years ago)
+Willm0re Pretty sure they said they were discontinuing the Core and replacing it with the Spectrum. The G900 is also twice the cost of the G502.
Kenrick Brown (2 years ago)
+Willm0re That's not what he is talking about. He said that the G900 looks like it has fewer buttons than the G502.
Willm0re (2 years ago)
+Ashley Brown The G502 spectrum has the same amount of buttons as the g502. The only difference is RGB lighting.
ThatsMeSuperMan (2 years ago)
But...but.... I´m not a professional, im just a casual gamer so this mouse isn´t made for me ? Well then I will go buy the deathadder.

+ThatsMeSuperMan Get the Logitech G502 :)

+ThatsMeSuperMan G502 or G402 are better.

i love my g502 but wow this is amazingly beautiful
Adamke_ (2 years ago)
+bubbleeteea I have the spectrum :/ I love it. But i really want this.
HΞathrØN, ThØmas (2 years ago)
Follow up for the G502, That is more light weight so also better useable for games like CS:GO
chanky chanky (11 months ago)
If you are into CSGO, Zowie is the Top of the Chart, not this bullshit or ur 502.
HΞathrØN, ThØmas (2 years ago)
+Justin Fung Yep and a G910, and sensor rattle never had it on the G303 only on the G502 but when I changed my mousepad to stock in the "correct ground" setting that is actually bullshit cause that made it rattle at my G502. And I will not agree with that it is uncomfortable. for example hold you hand on your chin like you hold your mouse, thats quite natural i'd say you only need to get used to it and yeah it is a unusual shape. But its just a mouse with the sides chopped off so that makes that you have space between your hand and mouse and that gave me more control and grip cause I get swetty hands and with the G502 I found that annoying.
Justin Fung (2 years ago)
+HeathroN, Thomas Correction: "Only lighter, wireless and ambidextrous." Still not worthy of my money though. I get that the technology is quite crazy, but still. $149.99 is quite a lot for a mouse. I can get a Corsair K70 RGB for that. Anyways, doesn't the G303 have a lot of sensor rattle and is very uncomfortable?
HΞathrØN, ThØmas (2 years ago)
Yep same for me I went for a downgrade actually cause I play CS:GO so I went from the "flagship" to the G303, I must say the shape is one of a kind but I think they can better make a ergonomic mouse like some sort of rival 300. I mean they dont have to be always special a stock good mouse like the g100s or g300s whas for many...
Justin Fung (2 years ago)
+HeathroN, Thomas That is why I'm not spending almost double the money for this shit. Only lighter and ambidextrous.
