Great Britain's Jenny Jones reflects on winning the bronze medal in the snowboarding slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Jenny Jones made history on Sunday, winning Britain's first ever Olympic medal on the snow. After an anxious wait as she watched her fellow finalists take on the demanding slopestyle course, Jones took the bronze medal in this the event's first Olympic appearance. She had posted a competitive score of 87.25 points on her final run, but as she was the second of 12 boarders down the course, had to wait for the remaining ten to take their turn. American Jamie Anderson took the gold medal with 95.25, while Enni Rukajarvi was second with 92.50 points. Britain's 22 previous winter Olympic medals have all be won on ice in events such as figure skating, skeleton and curling.
